SiPS Organizing Committee

The SiPS, or signal processing systems conference, is organized each year with the aim of providing professionals and specialists as well as enthusiasts who are interested in the area of signal processing a forum of discussion. During these conferences or workshops individuals get to share their knowledge and experience on the area they are interested in and their main purpose is to carry out discussions that could foster progress for their field. This is why the SiPS workshop has become so popular around the world and this is why it is still organized, ever since 1982.

In 2007, the signal processing systems conference was held in Shanghai, China in the center of the Pudong district. The conference was held in one of the most luxurious hotels in the area, the Eton hotel. The event was organized by international professionals who are also part of the academia in the world of telecommunications and multimedia and thus specialists’ whose main aim was to promote the development of the signal processing system and everything that has to do with it.

The organizing committee reunited individuals from various parts of the world and who were brought together in the same place by their passion: the digital signal processing systems. The organizing committee included professionals from China, the United States of America, Indonesia, Canada but also European countries such as Belgium, the United Kingdom and others.

The SiPS conference is held annually and every year people gather around with the aim of reaching and promoting progress in their area of interest. Undoubtedly, this is the international forum needed to foster progress and innovation in a field that humanity depends so much on. It is the forum in which professionals can reach the next level in the world of signal processing and every device that uses digital signal processing.
